Megha Jandhyala grew up in India, immersed in its rich and diverse food culture. She moved to North America for graduate studies and earned a doctorate in law from the University of Toronto. A few years ago, she found herself inescapably drawn away from life in academia towards a career writing about food and wine.
Megha now has a diploma in wine from the WSET. She is also a Rioja certified educator, teaching masterclasses on the region to trade and consumers alike. She focuses on the interplay between food and wine in her writing, in particular cuisine from the Indian subcontinent. She is also especially interested in exploring emerging wine regions (like Nashik in India).
