...Dark red currant in colour, the wine is in the process of developing a remarkably intense bouquet of savoury-driven red currants, leather, scorched earth, roasted wild game, asphalt, spice, and a hint of eucalyptus leaves. Complex, with beautiful mature fruit, well-integrated tannins, milder acidity, and a classy, lingering hint of red currants and leather traces on the finish. Brimming with character, focus, and balance, this is superbly pleasurable. Now-2015. (Julian Hitner, The Successful Collector, May 2011)
