This is one of those go-to purchases for many, and as with many 'go-to' wines (as well as people, places and things for that matter), I cant understand it. Perhaps I caught a flawed bottle, or perhaps I was flawed when I tasted this? No sense of place, off-balance and a ripe-greenness (if that makes any sense). We thought it was a generic under 15$ northern or badly made southern Rhone when tasted blind. There seem to be many who enjoy this, and that is fine, but why not try something new?
