Castelli di Jesi is known as the home of quality Verdicchio, and this example shows why. Lovely aromas of nectarine, yellow plum, vanilla and smoke replay beautifully on the palate. Dry and crisp, the wine is very refreshing and would make a fine aperitif, or savour it with seafood pasta. (VINTAGES panel, April 2009)
